They only bloom once a year and lasts about a week. Its leaves are gone with the arrival of autumn. The bare branches face the winter to bloom in flower the following season, between March and April.

"Many people think the Japanese cold and suspicious, in my view this form of social networking has its origin in the difficulties that people faced in the past. Situations such as war, destruction and international intervention to rebuild, changed the country as a whole, making the post-war Japanese people a cohesive and united by their causes. Make no mistake that the most unsuspecting people are very sensitive one. The amazing thing is how they managed to maintain their cultural and philosophical beliefs, despite the American occupation. See for example we are at the time of blooming of Sakura, Japanese cherry. The sensitivity, symbolism, restoration, hope, feelings are celebrated at this event. It is a very sensitive people and posted an article from Japan Fundation based in Sao Paulo. http://www.fjsp.org.br/. It's worth entering the site and learn a little of this amazing people. Have fun!
